A coisa que mais gosto no meu blog é o botão Random. Gosto tanto que criei esta seção para ele.

Minha intenção é sempre republicar 5 links que ele me mandar. Todo dia!

Não se trata de nostalgia ou falta de inspiração pra posts novos (aliás, quem aí trabalha só com inspiração? que sorte, hein?). Está mais para uma brincadeira com o aleatório.

Um jeito de ganhar novas pautas e relembrar coisas boas apenas com a força do acaso. Além de ser uma chance de corrigir erros que deixei passar em alguns posts de forma gradativa. Acho que será bacana.

O blog You Ain’t No Picasso tem uma tag chamada “covers archive”, onde reúnem covers feitas por algumas bandas em mp3. Tem Arcade Fire, Spoon, Decemberists e algumas outras. Vale aproveitar um tempo por esses posts. 

A melhor alternativa é o dedicado ao Of Montreal. Ninguém ganha da banda. São 88 covers passando por um repertório que cobre quase todas as épocas e estilos, uma aula de música pop contada pela visão do grupo. Como gosto de repertir, mais importante que tocar bem é escutar muitos discos. Desmontar suas referências e reconstruir tudo no seu som. E o Of Montreal fez isso muito bem.

Escutar tantos covers é uma experiência indicada, principalmente para quem conhece pouco ou quase nada do material original dos caras. É conhecer uma banda pelo caminho inverso. Processo muito interessante.
